It's officially December, which means this chaotic year will soon be coming to an end! I wonder what 2021 will have in store.

The days have been slow and rather uneventful, but not necessarily bad. In fact, things have been going smoothly lately, and I've been feeling pretty good. Last week, we put up our xmas tree, and while I'm not particularly festive when it comes to the holidays, it does add a certain coziness to our apartment. I like the way the room glows at night when nothing but the tree is lit. I've never had a tree, so it's a domestic first for me.

I'm looking forward to the holidays and to the new year. I'm sure a lot of people are. It will be nice to have a sense of family and give some nice gifts to loved ones. It feels good to have something to be excited about.
