Lots of snow today... too much too soon. Our trip up north with Austen and Nigel is coming up this weekend, and I was really hoping it would still feel like fall, but now it seems like it will have a much more wintry tone. I wasn't ready for winter yet, but I have to admit that the coating of snow on the trees and rooftops is quite dreamy. In any case I'm really looking forward to our trip. So grateful for good friends and cozy cabins.
